Child Welfare
Empowering children to thrive in safe, healthy, and nurturing environments.
Every child deserves to grow up safe, healthy, and empowered.
Children are at the heart of resilient, inclusive, and sustainable communities. At Pamoja to Sustain, we champion child rights and well-being through integrated programs that provide access to education, healthcare, protection, and safe living conditions. Our child welfare initiatives aim to ensure that every child ; regardless of background ; grows up empowered, healthy, and protected.

Why Child Welfare Matters
Many children in Kenya continue to face systemic challenges: poverty, malnutrition, limited access to quality education, abuse, and unsafe living environments. We work to close these gaps by strengthening systems, advocating for children’s rights, and delivering programs that meet the needs of the most vulnerable ; including orphans, children with disabilities, and those in marginalized communities.
Our Focus Areas
Protection, Safety & Empowerment
We work with families, teachers, and local leaders to prevent and respond to abuse, neglect, and exploitation, promoting safe, nurturing environments and child rights.
Inclusive Access to Education
We support early learning, school retention, and after-school programs ; especially for girls, children with disabilities, and those from underserved areas.
Health, Nutrition & Safe Living
We ensure children have access to healthcare, immunization, proper nutrition, and mental health support ; creating safe living conditions for healthy growth.
Our Commitment to Children
Equity & Inclusion
No child should be left behind.
Empathy & Care
Listening to children’s voices and responding with compassion.
